Interested in joining us as an Electronics Engineer working on our Long Range Standoff (LRSO) Program for the Air Force?


YOU WILL:
• Research, design, develop, document, test, and maintain electronic assemblies and systems from concept definition through production to support the Avionics and Power teams.

• Become the Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) responsible for all aspects of the design, test, delivery, and integration for multiple processor components being designed by a subcontractor.

• Specify, coordinate, and review both COTS and vendor-generated electronic system development products and data packages.

• Conduct product evaluations and support source selection decisions.

• Support electrical/electronic system troubleshooting exercises to include causal analysis and corrective action implementation.

• Liaison to Software, Systems, Manufacturing and Test Engineering during all phases of product development.

• Participate in electronic trade studies of alternate product design solutions and specify the design and fabrication of test control apparatuses and interface equipment for use in component level design verification, product acceptance, ESS and qualification testing.


WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO HAVE:
• Experience in Cruise Missile design and development.

• Experience in Nuclear Certification, and design required for Nuclear Certification.

You will typically have 14 - 20+ years of professional experience for this role.

This position requires an active Secret clearance with an investigation within the past 5 years, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated Technical Leadership Experience in:
• Experience in Cruise Missile design and development
• Experience in processor and/or high speed electronics / RF / digital / communications design
• Experience in Nuclear Certification, and design required for Nuclear Certification
• Understanding of Electrical or Electronics theories and principles
- Design of Processors, Digital Electronic circuitry, and/or RF
• Testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits
• Electrical circuit simulation (ORCAD, PSPICE, LTSPICE, or iCAPS)
• Electrical circuit analysis (Worst Case Analysis)

This position requires an active Secret clearance with an investigation within the past 5 years, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience as a Lockheed Martin Certified Principal Engineer of digital electronics, analog electronics, processor, or RF
• Familiarity with LMSSC CPE Program and other engineering processes and disciplines
• Experience working with Subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers
• Experience with embedded processors and FPGAs
• Experience in designing Power, Analog, and Digital circuitry, schematic capture, printed wiring board (PWB), and circuit card assembly (CCA) design.
• Working knowledge of electronic component qualification requirements, including EMI/EMC and survivability
• Experience in various phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle. Knowledge of front-end product development, including generation of requirements and interfaces, mechanical and thermal packaging, analog and digital design, and transition to production experience
• Developing proficiency in presentation and in written communication skills
