Would you like the opportunity to work with a leading team on the groundbreaking Mark IV-B space program?

In this role, you will primarily perform the following:
•Lead the cyber security sustainment of 9 operational Air Force sites
•Receive security updates (from the Air Force customer), analyze them for applicability, and install patches to fielded systems
•Track compliance/non-compliance of required security updates
•Regularly perform security scans of systems to assess status and vulnerabilities and work with the software and hardware engineering teams to mitigate or close scan findings.

In this role as a CSSE, you may also perform the following:
•Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
•Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions.
•Coordinate and address Supply Chain risk management concerns.
•Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain.
•Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
•Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
•Employ cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application.
•Implement appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Typical Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
Basic Qualifications:
•Knowledge or experience in RMF Assessment & Authorization Package Development.
•Knowledge or experience with employment of cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.
•Knowledge or experience with vulnerability and compliance assessments and mitigation.
•Experience participating in internal/external security audits/inspections.
•DoD 8570 Experience.
Desired Skills:
•Technical background.
•Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
•Good communication skills.
•Strong technical writing skills.
•Experience working with the AF customer.

Experience in any of the following:
•Windows 10, Solaris, RedHat environments.
•Running DISA STIGs, the DISA SCAP tools, STIG Viewer.
•Writing Cyber security policies, plans, and procedures, and POA&Ms.
•Patching systems, patch tools such as WSUS.
•Vulnerator (vulnerability parsing utility).
