As a Negotiator, your primary functions and responsibility of this position will be to:
•Provide expertise and leadership as part of the Strategic and Missile Defense Line of Business.
•Serve as the adviser to the Senior and Program teams on Government issues.
•Coordinate and consult with legal staff as appropriate.
•Focus on leading organizational functions to meet critical schedules, resolve critical/complex technical or operational problems.
•Oversee the evaluation of contract performance to figure out necessity for amendments or extensions of , and compliance to contractual obligations.
•Ensure communications are maintained for timely contract execution by the parties.
•Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
•Brief on program status and contractual issues.

You will also take initiative to achieve results in this focused, fast paced and dynamic environment requiring ability to envision solutions to resolve issues correctly. You should possess a strong ability to work and communicate with all partners on a recurring basis. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin through gaining follow-on and new business as well as developing leaders within the organization. You should be a collaborative strategy focused negotiator with an understanding of how negotiation strategy impacts both Lockheed Martin and the customer.

Some travel may be required.

This person must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. US citizenship required

Typically has 1 - 3 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
•Strong oral and written communication skills, in addition to attention to detail.

Desired Skills:
•Active Secret clearance.
