Description:The Global Sustainment (GS) Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS) Dahlgren Operations Associate Manager is responsible for leading personnel, conducting training, and performing curriculum development of the Aegis Operations and Maintenance (O&M) courses in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Aegis Training and Readiness Center (ATRC), and other Aegis stakeholders. The candidate will coordinate with Lockheed Martin Program and Functional Management teams to ensure customer satisfaction of required sustainment deliverables and support services.

Job Duties:
- Leading a diverse team of personnel conducting curriculum development and training tasks.
- Supporting employee readiness, qualification, and professional growth opportunities.
- Ensuring program requirements across all sustainment elements are achieved including cost, schedule and risk management.
- Developing successful relationships with Program teams and Contract Account Managers, while participating in business development proposal opportunities.
- Aiding development of high-level briefs on strategic training plans for Modernization, New Construction, and future Aegis Weapons capabilities.
- Participating in the development of new training materials and revising existing curriculum, including the integration of simulation courseware updates and virtual deployment.
- Developing training plans such as a Front End Analysis (FEA), Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), and other recommendations required to effectively and efficiently support training program development & execution.
- Delivering formal training for internal/external customers, conducting instructor evaluations, and submitting training reports. US Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position and will eventually require a Top Secret DoD Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6+ years leadership experience, managing a diverse workforce.
- Experience directly related to the employment of the Aegis Combat System, IAMD tactical and technical application, mission planning, and training systems.
- Knowledge of Full Spectrum Leadership and the competencies necessary to fulfill leadership expectations.
- Experience supporting USN and International Aegis Training Programs (curriculum development through execution).
- History of developing positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Proven ability to work successfully in a virtual and matrix organization.
Desired Skills:
- Background supporting Surface Combat Systems Operations and Training at the Officer Operator and AWS Supervisor level.
- Practice using Navy Education and Training (NETC) NAVEDTRA manuals, processes, and tools.
- Familiarization with Navy training plans such as a Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) and a Front End Analysis (FEA).
- Experience related to proposal development and opportunity evaluation.
- Competence and compliance with Export Control and International Travel requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
