Software Engineer - Flight Simulation

Description:Selected candidate will be responsible for software development and sustainment on multiple flight simulators and off-line support systems in support of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contract at Hurlburt Field, Florida. This support shall include requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of real-time software on high-fidelity flight simulations. The selected candidate will collaborate with a distributed engineering team to execute modifications on the AC/MC-130J, MC-130H, CV-22, and C-146 training devices.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
Experience with software development on flight simulator Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work flexible hours
Willing to travel as required
Desired Skills:
Experience with or knowledge of aircraft flight dynamics, avionics, sensor, EW systems
Experience with Real-Time Software Development, Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Experience with C/C++, FORTRAN, HTML, scripting, CVS, SVN, Git
Experience on AC-130J, MC-130J, MC-130H, CV-22, C-146 simulators
Experience with Distributed Mission Operation, DIS protocol, SAF applications such as MACE, DI-Guy
Security+ Certification
Current SECRET clearance
