Are you a creative thinker and problem solver? Are you prepared to take you career to new heights? Lockheed Martin is look for an ambitious Systems Engineer to join the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System Engineering, Integration, and Test (WSEIT) Systems Engineering (WSE) System Simulation team.

As a Systems Engineer you will:
• Support experienced analysts and simulation developers to include supporting efforts to resolve system performance
• Modify or develop simulation software, perform software testing to verify code and data, and analyze performance anomalies
• Support the creation of test descriptions detailing the test process and predicted software behavior, and verify software changes for completeness and accuracy
• Execute various models and simulations for performing assigned analysis tasks
• Use existing data reduction tools and write scripts (PERL, C-shell, etc.) to post-process simulation data to support analysis activities
• Support meetings and reviews through use of Microsoft Excel to post-process and visually display simulation data and assist in creating technical reports and briefings discussing analysis

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• C/C++ or a similar programming language
• Microsoft Office Suite
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Simulation Environment, FORTRAN, Python, MATLAB
• Familiarity with overall systems engineering process
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
