Job Responsibilities
Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Resource Planner to join our team in Huntsville, AL. As an entry-level professional in this role, you will play a critical support function in overseeing operational activities that drive the development and implementation of new projects and changes to existing projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely planning of manufacturing requirements, utilizing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems (SAP) to meet customer delivery commitments and drive business success.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
•Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically SAP, to execute logistics planning, management, and tracking activities, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support removal and replacement of defective parts, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of production.
•Analyze and identify potential part shortages, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies to prevent stockouts and maintain production schedules.
•Generate and manage production orders, driving manufacturing activities and ensuring alignment with program requirements and customer delivery commitments.
•Coordinate and optimize shipping and logistics activities between manufacturing facilities and supporting organizations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
•Provide ongoing logistics support and expertise in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment, fostering collaboration and communication among stakeholders to drive program success.
•Conduct thorough evaluations of material issues and concerns, assessing potential impacts on business operations and developing recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of production.
•Serve as a key interface with program stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination of logistics activities, and to provide expert advice and guidance on resource planning and management.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• For facility access reasons, U.S. citizenship is required
• Experience in one or multiple of the following areas: Production Planning & Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing/Production Operations, Procurement, or Logistics
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Finance, communications, or other related degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as SAP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Proven ability to proactively identify and drive change
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
