As a Software Integration Engineer on the Modeling and Simulation Contract (MASC-F) you will be working in an agile development environment and will be responsible for supporting elements of the automation/integration/testing of software working closely with the development teams.

The candidate will be able to install, integrate, test, troubleshoot, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite. The candidate will be able to create/maintain a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) capability to conduct automated building, testing, and deployment of prototype and experimental software. The candidate will help lead the transformation into a DevOps method of working.

The candidate can expect to work closely in agile teams utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework to solve a variety of technical problems. The candidate should be a self-starter that is attentive to details and works well in a multi-disciplined teaming environment. The candidate will frequently use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.

Energetic, motivated and skilled person needed to join a forward-looking Agile team to help enhance the development, integration, test and deployment of software. The candidate will work under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
****Interim Secret security clearance*****

• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software.
• Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Experience with Redhat (RHEL) 6.x, 7.x, 8.x.
Desired Skills:
• Developing unit tests to assist in maintaining code coverage.
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools: (Clearcase, Gitlab, Git)
• Customer focus
• Scaled Agile Framework experience; working as a part of a SCRUM Team.
• Candidates should have a basic understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS).
• Experience with Agile Process Tools (VersionOne, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience with Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, and automated test.
• Experience Developing / integration of engineering tools in an Agile environment.
