Are you looking for an exciting career as a Project Engineer at one of the top Aerospace and Defense companies? Join the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Team.
You will gain valuable cross-lifecycle experience on the THAAD Missile Obsolescence Mitigation team. Support the Obsolescence Surveillance & Integration teams during industry Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) surveillance, ROM/proposal generation, and project stand-up. Interface across all program lifecycles for both US and International customers: acquisition, development, production, and sustainment logistics. Key tasks/responsibilities:
• Manage obsolescence surveillance of Ground and Ground Sustainment Integrated Parts Lists.
• Work with engineering and program management to evaluate impacts, develop recommended solutions, and execute mitigation
• Support and interface with executives and customer counterparts at high level Deep Dives, quarterly working groups, and other program reviews (Travel 4-6 times per year)
• Shape THAAD business capture during proposal and pre-proposal for obsolescence ROMs and SOW development
• Create spares inventory analysis outputs to shape customer facing program obsolescence production planning and future forecasts
• Create and manage subcontractor and prime-level obsolescence data submittals to communicate critical obsolescence data to the customer
• Support/Develop strategic program improvements
• Execute hot topic issue resolution and other surge activities
Basic Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Database tools through education (Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline), or equivalent experience/combined education with 2+ years of experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and present information effectively to partners at all levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Microsoft Database applications (MS Access)
• Previous experience in System Engineering Integration, Project Management, or Configuration Data Management
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
