Program Resiliency Director

As part of this program, the LM Business Area is creating a Program Resiliency Director / Chief Resiliency Officer (CRO) role to transform and accelerate the business areas focus on resilience. ... The CRO is a senior Director level position which ensures that resilience is a cornerstone of program planning and execution across all products, processes, functions, facilities, supply chain, program cyber security and is an inspiring leader with our Customers in crafting solutions and mission integration.

Engaging diverse leaders from within and external customers and inspiring action to address the most pressing Resilience challenges.

Facilitating guidance from a wide variety of partners to identify the LM resilience challenges, capabilities, and plans to address issues and any current gaps or shortfalls in achieving resilience goals.

Leading the Office of Resilience and its staff, and leading overall coordination efforts of Business Innovation, Transformation & Enterprise Excellence (BITEE’s) departments in the development of LM ’s Resilience Strategy.

Broad recognition as the point person for LM ’s comprehensive efforts on resilience, bringing together partners from across LM and Corporation to establish a compelling vision and driving the resilience direction for the business.

Ensuring a holistic view is applied to all projects with a goal of providing high reward, yet cost-efficient, final products that address multiple resilience efforts whenever possible.

Encouraging external contacts with other LM BA’s, Enterprise organization Customers, and Supply Chain teams.

The position location is flexible, but there is a strong preference for this individual to work out of a primary Lockheed Martin facility.

In this dynamic role you will have the following daily challenges:

• Work with the LM LOB and MFO leaders with vision to drive Program Resiliency solutions to meet business challenges and objectives

• Develop, define and execute Program Resiliency strategies working as a technical representative for BA Resiliency Steering Committee

• Partner with HW/SW, Production, Process, Cyber, and Program Security Engineers as well as with Cyber Security, Industrial Security and Program Level Security areas to support the creation of products and solutions that meet our Customers demanding Resilient Operational needs

• Maintain awareness of emerging Program Resiliency technologies and communicates with programs and all business functions to derive business value
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 20 years of professional relevant experience; or related Master’s degree and 18 years; or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

• Fifteen years of business experience, ideally in HW/SW intensive systems engineering design, Business Process Re-Engineering, Simulation Based Design/Manufacturing or business management — recently at or near the executive level.

• Five years of progressive leadership experience in leading diverse, geographically dispersed, cross- functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization.

• Five or more years of experience in Program Resiliency - intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises.

• Knowledge of various technical domains including HW/SW product design/production/sustainment, cyber and program security solutions.

• Full understanding of Cyber Security principles and implications to Resilient product, process, mission design.

• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET/SCI clearance and have the ability to qualify for potentially higher access levels to support this government program, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
• PhD, MS or BS in Computer Engineering, CS, IS, or Systems Engineering, combined with Systems and/or
have experience in program management project and program implementation through the full life cycle

• Display your excellent oral and presentation skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders at all levels, as well as business concepts to technologists

• Have familiarity with Agile development and DevOps operating models

• Familiarity with advanced simulation tools, AR/VR, Integrated Cyber Solutions and knowledge of Program Resiliency governance control

• Experience with Commercial Business, Products, Processes

• Experience with creating standard methodologies for technical projects

• Experience managing technical teams

• Understanding of and experience building business cases for large technical projects

• Working knowledge of LM business processes and technologies

• Have your active Top Secret clearance
