Description:This position will serve as the Mechanical Lead and Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager to perform the mechanical design, design concepts, layouts, engineering documentation, trade studies, drawing release, weights, tolerance analysis, design concepts and detail designs to meet LRHW Launcher TEL requirements.

The selected candidate will be working with Dynetics subcontractor mechanical analyst to ensure the design meets all requirements.

As an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the management and will drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.

To drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, the E&T manager is responsible for supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program.

This specific position will work closely with the LM Space Company Long Range Hypersonics Weapons (LRHW) Team to ensure all Launcher TEL mechanical/electrical technical requirements are met / exceeded to include:
• Provide technical oversight of major LRHW key supplier, Dynetics Technical Services, and ensure they are meeting all LRHW Launcher TEL technical requirements and provide guidance / technical solutions to ensure overall launcher TEL mechanical design requirements are fully met.
• This position will support LM Space Team in meeting all LRHW program milestone events and ensuring Dynetics is meeting all required and associated milestones set forth in the LRHW Prototype Weapon System SOW.

MFCE&T
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

Must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university (preferably in an engineering focused discipline) OR equivalent professional experience with combined education.

Must have extensive CAD (preferably Pro-E/CREO) experience specializing in design.
Desired Skills:
Launcher design and interface requirements

Knowledge of THAAD Program systems, processes, and personnel

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a technical lead (or IPT lead with similar technical leadership experience).

Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring.

Process Improvement and Affordability experience.

Full Lifecycle Development Experience.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs.

Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask.

Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts associated with all program phases of product development.

Technical depth and breadth in one or more Engineering disciplines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.

Experience with hardware development.

Control Account Management experience.

Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
