Human Resources Interns at Lockheed Martin
will be placed in a teaming environment where
they will work on projects that align with the
company's HR strategy. Each HR Intern will
obtain hands on experience through projects
that will be assigned in HR functional areas such
as: Total Rewards and Performance
Management; Labor Relations; Talent and
Organizational Capability; Diversity, Inclusion,
and Equal Opportunity Programs; and Workforce Intelligence and Transformation.
Assignments are based on business needs
coupled with the candidate's education,
experience, and career interests.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates must demonstrate an interest and ability to enter the HR field and be pursuing either an undergraduate or advanced degree in data science, operations research, HR or a
related area with specific coursework in HR.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to clearly articulate strong career interest in the field of Human Resources data, analytics, data science or technology
- Leadership potential and competencies as
evidenced by good citizenship, achievement and involvement in non-academic pursuits such as extracurricular activities, community service, or special projects
- Desire to learn quickly
- Ability to work in a virtual environment
