Within our LM Space Software Factory (SWF), we are seeking a talented Agile Thought Leader to join our Agile Talent Center team as an Agile Subject matter Expert (SME). The SME will support the deployment of Agile best practices within LM Space via strategic program engagements, Software Factory Assessments, support of SWF Agile tools and applications, and via mentorship of other Agile coaches on programs and within the Talent Center.

As an Agile SME for the Agile Talent Center team, you will be expected to:

- Work together with the Agile Talent Center L-coded leader to identify and develop Agile talent within Space.

- Support key Agile initiatives within SWF via content development and identifying best practices. Considered a thought leader within the Agile Space.

- Ability to deploy to strategic Space programs in support of Agile transformation, specifically aligned to red or challenged programs. A strong ability to tailor Agile to meet a programs needs.

- Brief to program and LM Space executive leadership on a range of topics aligned to Agility and Agile transformation. Comfortable creating and delivering "Up and Out" messaging throughout LM Space and cross LM Business Areas.

- Support the establishment and growth of an Agile "Community of Practice" via Agile coaches badged to the Talent Center, and deployed to programs. Identify best practices via LM Space programs and Industry standards and deploy in an actionable manner across the LM Space enterprise.

- Assess the Agile health of a program via LM Space SWF Assessments. Observe a program via on-site engagement against SWF criteria. Provide program with direct and actionable feedback against that criteria to achieve measurable program improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience supporting Agile teams and dependencies in an Enterprise organization using SAFe, LeSS, DAD, Nexus, or similar scaled Agile framework

Experience working with Agile tools e.g. Jira, Agile Central (Rally), or Agility (VersionOne) as an Admin or Super User

Experience with large scale, complex missile or space systems including familiarity with products, designs, program processes, subcontractor teams

Comfortable imparting knowledge and leveraging experiences to guide leaders on Agile Teams.

Experience developing business cases and measuring
relevant outcomes via program savings and cost takeout represented in Metrics or Dollars.

Experience collaborating with, communicating with, and coaching senior organizational leadership

Experience driving continuous improvement and common process across diverse stakeholder groups

Ability to receive and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
External and Internal reputation as a go-to for how to best implement Agile

Ability to lead multi-functional teams and lead multiple teams to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals

Common scaling principles, frameworks and patterns through coaching and education

Excellent communication skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

Industry recognized Agile certification (Scaled Agile, Scrum.org, Scrum, Inc., or Scrum Alliance)

Supports the capture of Agile new business through proposal support and engagement.

Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or calculating and tracking Earned Value for Agile programs

System Lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews

Experience with DoD Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Agile programs

Experience planning, estimating, and tracking Agile team throughput and performance

Space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering

Broad experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
