• This is a combined Systems Engineering & Integration and Configuration/Change Management position within the SE&I/CM team.
• You will provides SE&I and CM solutions for technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
• You will be responsible for performing specific technical tasks related to the disciplines of systems engineering/integration and configuration/change management, including but not limited to: new system installations, system change identification and planning, coordination of engineering change requests, change board presentations, engineering change process development, discrepancy reporting and document and baseline management.
• May also produce and review technical documentation, Operating Instructions, Concept of Operations, System Integration Plans and Requests for Change (RFC).
• Some travel may be required.
• You will work as part of a team of systems engineers, system integrators and CM analysts in a multidisciplinary role that may include, but is not limited to:
- Site system integration and system engineering processes to actively take the lead in 1) defining and documenting site and enterprise systems engineering processes and practices; 2) evaluation of end user/operational needs and translation to formal requirements and; 3) identifying efficiencies and leading/participating in engineering process improvement activities.
- Management and Execution of special technical, engineering, integration and CM related activities and projects to include planning, oversight and status reporting; working closely with customers, stakeholders and SETAs to integrate new systems into the baseline supporting/conducting requirements review, RFC review, engineering review boards, operational readiness and transition to operations.
- Technical coordination and execution of tasks that may support various engineering and CM areas of responsibility such as configuration management, change management, performance assessment, engineering analysis, system integrations and document management
- Understanding of the program mission and segment interfaces
- Analysis of engineering, operational and organizational concepts, requirements, models, architectures, workflows and associated doctrine in the systems engineering “V”.
- Technical support for system reviews, design reviews and technical exchange meetings during system and concept development activities as required
- Assessment of technical specifications, concept of operations, requests for change, transitions to operations, and training plans generated during system acquisition and deployment.

Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Applicant must be a proficient communicator to all skill levels, be able to respond effectively to changing situations, and be able to properly prioritize, status, and work multiple tasks.

Self-motivated and able to work under general supervision with the ability to function effectively in a rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision is necessary.

Strong organizational skills to include project planning and scheduling, project team leadership and requirements management and satisfaction.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Sharepoint

Familiarity with national systems missions and concepts

Experience developing, quantifying and implementing process improvements

Strong organizational skills to include project planning and scheduling, project team leadership and requirements management and satisfaction.
