If so, the Space Ground and Communications Organization is looking for you. The SG&CS organization is a highly dynamic and growing organization that plays a vital role in providing mission-critical intelligence solutions by optimizing satellite constellations, processing data through its entire life cycle and developing reliable cutting-edge infrastructure for information dissemination across a global network and to a variety of programs.
You will participate in the design, development, verification and deployment of a sophisticated new software / database applications for Special Programs. You will utilize your previous software experience to develop and maintain software using the following languages and technologies; JavaEE, Javascript, HTML, CSS, RESTful Web Services, and Oracle12.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A current TS/SCI is needed for this position.

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience developing or maintaining applications to include some of the following applications: JavaEE, Javascript, Java, GIT, Eclipse, RestFUL, Web Services, Proficient in Linux, Windows OS.
• Good working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Possess the know how to use and integrate COTS and FOSS software
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team orientation.
• Excellent oral and creative written communications skills.
Desired Skills:
• Previous Agile / XP development experience.
• Product Quality (PQ) domain experience
• Experience with Atlassian Stack (JIRA and Confluence)
• Experience with all phases of the software development process including maintenance.
• Perl scripting
• AWS Services
