The Grand Central (GCL) program is searching for a Mid-Career Systems Engineer to join the program in Spring 2020. GCL supports the Central Security Services (CSS) in designing, implementing, and sustaining a security platform to enable integration, automation, and centralized management of security services and data, including continuous monitoring functions.

Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Project Management – working with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
• Requirements analysis and decomposition

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
• Knowledge of SE lifecycle and how early milestones may drive future costs
• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with development and infrastructure program, systems engineering and integration experience, including contractual systems engineering (e.g. working with SOWs, Compliance Documents, CDRL/SDRLs)
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Self-Starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management and peers
