The Bobcat program is seeking an individual with a wide variety of Systems Administrative expertise with Windows Server 2008 R2 & 2016, Windows 7 & 10, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support of the operating systems and its successful integration with the hardware and applications software across the enterprise.

Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Plans, tests, installs, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems, third party software components, and subsystems
• Proactively monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance
• Performs troubleshooting and diagnosing and correction of problems
• Maintains environment security and compliance
• Performs backups
• Performs system security administration functions, including managing customer accounts via Active Directory
• Execution of system transition procedures
• Integration and planning for future deliveries
• Resolve system anomalies and support to after-hours testing, as required
• Works with customer to plan for scheduled down time for maintenance reboots and restores

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft systems administration and configuration
• Applicant must have or obtain an active CISSP or CASP Certification within 6 months of start date
• TS/SCI needed to start and be willing to obtain a CI Poly
Desired Skills:
• Familiarization and/or experience in a combination of the following technologies:

ESXi
HP iLO
HP C3000/C7000 Blade Hardware and 4400 Series SAN
Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4 & 5
Windows Server 2016
Windows 7 & Windows 10
Microsoft AD & LDAP
Microsoft IIS
Microsoft Powershell
Microsoft SQL Server
VERITAS Training & Experience

• Familiarization with DCID 6/3 and/or ICD 509 certification of servers
• Experience with networks, firewalls, and switches
• Experience with system or application administration for web-based applications, web-based COTS products
• Ability to manage workload and effectively communicate blocking problems
• Ability to work in a team environment communicating with multiple discipline peers (Ex: Software Developers, System Users, Management, etc.)
