Cyber is an essential element of Space’s strategy for growth as these skillsets have become essential to meeting both customer and internal needs. In support of new programs, our Cyber Exploitation teams are building capabilities and specialized tools and techniques. We are increasing focus and emphasis on our customers’ hardest problems, including challenges unique to the realm of cyber security tools and integrated effects.

Are you an accomplished Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), ready to take your career to a new level and work at an extraordinary company in Herndon, VA We are looking for a candidate who is results oriented, multi-disciplined, and comfortable working with senior engineering staff and management to implement system security accreditation in multi-vendor environments, and can act as an information security liaison to various business units.

In this role, you will:
•Perform systems analysis & integrations, requirements analysis, process definition and implementation, and project management.
•Perform day-to-day administration of the Information Systems Security program and understanding the security design, consultation, and technology implementation for various customer projects and initiatives.
•Demonstrate knowledge in assisting system users relative to information systems security matters and undertake moderately complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
•Provide direct support to establishing and maintaining enclave and network accreditation and special approval authorizations, as required, for all networked and stand-alone information systems (IS), using Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies, such as the use of NIST or CNSS standards for security certification assessment and testing related to ICD-503 controls using CNSS 1253 controls, and other USG guidance.
•Perform tasks in XACTA 360, the enterprise solution for cyber risk management and compliance automation. Manage cyber risk with compliance automation, continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization.
•Communicate orally, in writing, and interpersonally to various customers/audiences.
•Convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
•Deploy the complete DevOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments and compliance scanning using test driven development.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Typical Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
Basic Qualifications:
•Experience with systems analysis & integration, requirements analysis, and process definition and implementation.
•Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Assessment & Authorization packages under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or ICD 503.
•Experience in submitting assessment authorization packages through XACTA 360 and/or eMASS.
•DevOps lifecycle experience.
•Experience performing vulnerability scans.
Desired Skills:
•Demonstrated experience defining and architecting end-to-end data flow architecture and data management systems.
•Demonstrated experience deploying, configuring or architecting virtualization or cloud-based solutions.
