Join us as a Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Flight Test Ground Station Engineering Manager -- Level 5 with our legendary Skunk Works® organization. The Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Some of our projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightning II. Learn more about some of the incredible things we do here.
A successful manager will oversee a team of ground station engineers engaged in devising practical solutions for challenging problems.
Some shift, extended hours, weekend work and travel may be required

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance with special program access
- Leadership system experience to include hiring, timecards, performance reviews, counseling, promotions, recognition, training, etc.
- Proven Flight Test experience
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline
- Security+ certification
- Experience in engienering documentation, configuration control and change boards, and systems management
- History interfacing directly with DoD customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
