Description:Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company as a Systems Administrator on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team! This position will deploy to Iraq in support of our F-16 Aircraft Program!

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for all technical support activities for Windows Server and Desktop systems at the site.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Support tasks include and are not limited to: desk side support, Helpdesk; service desk, Server deployments, security updates; server and desktop installing, configuring, patching, and maintaining.

• Work independently on associated tasks with minimal assistance and guidance.

• This position will be well-experienced with Windows servers and associated peripherals to include system refreshes, backups, data storage, Systems lifecycle, and new installs.
• Will be working with military aviation systems; mission planning, scheduling, troubleshooting and update of hardware and software.
• Install servers and Image desktop systems. Responsible for standing up and managing new Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and MS Windows systems supporting approximately 1100 users.

• Candidate will be responsible for producing and developing written documents on process and procedures. The ideal candidate must be skilled, confident enough to work IT associated issues alone.

• Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, twisting and working in dust covered environments. Work environment is frequently hot and dusty requiring ongoing preventative maintenance of all IT equipment.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. • Must develop and maintain good relationship with the customers. Must be Flexible, have a positive attitude and excellent people skills, Must have patience, good communication skills, and be customer service oriented. Also must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Must be able to work with foreign national customers. Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal direction/supervision. Must have experience with setting and completing projects.

• Must be a US citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Candidates offered a position must complete a pre-employment medical exam that is designed to ensure deployment to the worksite in Iraq, which is located in an austere environment with very limited access to medical care, does not pose a direct threat to yourself or others.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualification are the skills that you must possess to be considered for this position:

• Expert level of experience in all aspects of Systems Administration to include but not limited to: VMWare ESXi 6.0 and above, Active Directory, Windows Servers, Backup systems, file sharing, and print servers.

• Experience with server system backup, software installation, configuration and maintenance, software license maintenance, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and implementation of new designs.

• Experience with installing and configuring Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Outlook Web Access.

• Experience with installing and configuring McAfee Epo server, or any anti-Virus Epo.

• Experience with deploying and configuring Windows Services, Windows System Update Server (WSUS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name service (DNS)

• Experience with Nessus software vulnerability scanning tool

• Strong backup and recovery skills.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required, but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

• Experience setting up and maintaining Storage Area Network (SAN) technology

• Understanding of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Windows and Network Firewall.

• Disaster recovery knowledge

• Familiar with PC imaging practices.

• Must be proactive in meeting customer needs.
• Experience implementing system security policies and industry best practices. Experience in exercising network security requirements, establishing security protocols and procedures, and maintaining local area network (LAN) security.
• APC UPS experience
• HP systems

• Experience working in an aircraft flight operations environment.

• Experience being deployed in the Middle East and working in austere environments.

• Knowledge and sensitivity to middle-eastern culture.

• Experience supporting desktop users of varying technical proficiency.
