Maintenance Management Production Specialist

Description:The Maintenance Management Production Specialist plans and schedules aerospace vehicle maintenance and utilization requirements. Develops plans and establishes production schedules to meet mission requirements. Schedules aerospace vehicles, missiles, space systems, AGE, munitions/armaments, and engines. Determines maintenance capabilities and aids in developing operational schedules. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for known maintenance and operational mission and training requirements. Coordinates with base activities to ensure support is available to meet schedules. Manages aerospace vehicles, engines, armament/munitions, missiles, space systems, AGE, and selected equipment inventory data. Provides written guidance for accounting of flying hour data. Monitors scheduling effectiveness. Ensures senior leaders are briefed on Health Of Fleet (HOF) issues and impact on long term fleet health.

Schedules and monitors workload requirements. Ensures management is advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to maintenance schedules. Uses automated system to schedule and monitor maintenance activities’ workload. Administers work control by authorizing jobs, work priorities, and completion times.

Maintains and audits weapon systems records. Reviews, evaluates, and files documented information for planning and scheduling maintenance actions. Maintains historical and flight status records of weapons and support systems. Manages the aircraft configuration, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Service Bulletins (SB), Airworthiness Directives (AD), Special Inspections (SI), and time change items (TCI) and their related automated subsystems in the appropriate maintenance information systems (MIS). Ensures accurate documentation of aircraft configuration, TCTOs, TCIs, and SIs.
Operates automated information systems and maintains equipment records to support applicable weapon systems.

• Utilize the current management information system(s) to maintain aircraft forms and records as required by customer.
• Draft and submit aircraft/engine management and Inventory Reporting System reports in a timely manner.
• Maintains historical records.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, yearly reports as assigned.
• Process readiness documents and administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program and verify aircraft utilization reports.
• Monitor aircraft configuration status, weight and balance and aircraft inventory data for accuracy.
• Initiate and distribute applicable maintenance forms in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in preparation of the Monthly Maintenance Plan.
• Monitor, verify and log Support Equipment Custody records, Aviation Armament Equipment, Aircraft Inventory Records and Technical Directives as applicable.
• Provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction as required.
• Perform data processing, data entry and administrative support in the following systems:
o Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
o Comprehensive Engine Trending and Diagnostics System (CETADS)
o Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS)
o Computer Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP)
• May be required to maintain work-center technical publication annex library.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft record keeping.

5 years of experience using Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)

5 years of experience of using Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS)
Desired Skills:
5 years of experience of using Comprehensive Engine Trending and Diagnostics System (CETADS)

Familiarity with commercial record systems such as SAP and Computer Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP).

Willingness to take initiative.

Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Exemplary interpersonal skills.
