What You Will Be Doing
As an Industrial Engineer supporting the F-16 production line at our Greenville, SC site, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence and innovation in one of the world’s most advanced fighter jet programs. You’ll use data-driven insights to streamline processes, optimize resources, and support the successful delivery of high-performance aircraft to global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows, sequencing, capacity, and manpower to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Conduct time studies and performance assessments to support cost control and continuous improvement.
- Develop and present detailed work plans in coordination with Operations Leadership, utilizing tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Project.
- Monitor and support the implementation of changes related to schedule, labor, cost, and workflow optimization.
- Drive process improvements through project leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and team performance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering related field and 1 year of professional experience as an Industrial Engineer or in support of a manufacturing facility
- Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing resource capacity and manpower plans
- Experience in analyzing cost and schedule metrics for a manufacturing company
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering, data analytics, math, or science discipline
- Experience with SAP and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Experience with learning curve application
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications
- Aircraft production experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
