Description:Aircraft Maintenance Specialist with the nose to tail experience in the discipline of Structures requirements in support of Iraq F-16 CLS activities. Skilled in aircraft phase, calendar, special inspections and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO’s). Also has ability to conduct effective On the Job Training (OJT) to qualify a trainee of assigned Iraqi maintenance personnel to include documenting all progress in training records. Able to create and complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems. Will adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures and local operational instructions. Provide flight line assist for launch, recovery, and preflight/thru flight/basic post flight inspections, end of runway, ground handling, minor maintenance, servicing, and cannibalization process. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all landing gear, flight controls, engine starting, hydraulic systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance. Responsible for all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft. Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are necessary.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Progressive and documented experience in the aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program

Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in his career field

Candidate must have at least 4 years’ experience with aircraft maintenance activities.

Must have a minimum of 4 years of comprehensive aviation experience on various platforms.
Must have Technical Compliance, Time Compliance, or Aircraft Modification experience

Ability to complete aircraft upgrades and modifications in a timely manner with minimal to no supervision
Desired Skills:
- F-16 Nose to Tail experience in other specialties such as Avionics, E&E, and/or APG.

- Ability to lead small teams

- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

- Experience working with a foreign customer
