Electro Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Description:This position includes daily hands on duties. Including maintenance and upkeep on existing site wide electrical and mechanical systems, inspection of contractor workmanship, complete electrical installations, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting. This position requires the ability to work on your own with a wide variety of vendors, contractors, and managers. Specific skills include electrical troubleshooting, lighting upgrades, PLC knowledge, piping fitting, motor replacements, replacing drive systems, repairing various mechanical devices, working with energy group to improve efficiencies, and perform system load calculations. This position will also be responsible for the site wide compressed air system.

This person will also possess skills to direct day to day activities of non LM employees. Representing the Greenville site professionally and demonstrating a true respect for LM objectives and goals. Must be able to communicate with all personnel at any level.


******Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access******
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of Electrical High Voltage experience.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with at least 7 years related experience.

Experience with AutoCAD

Experience with Compressor systems

Experience with Troubleshooting

Electrical Safety training on LOTO and high voltage safety practices

Experience with Mechanical drive unit repairs and troubleshooting

Experience with Welding

Pump and motor installations and alignment Experience


Electrical troubleshooting and repair of high voltage systems experience

Experience leading a project or team

Experience with Microsoft Office

Experience reading schematics/drawings

Experience working with vendors and contractors

Capable of climbing ladders and squatting for several minutes

Available to respond to off hour calls and Emergencies
