What You Will Be Doing:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This Position will support the Quick Response Team (QRT). Job requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Repairs, replaces, and overhauls aircraft structural systems to ensure airworthiness.
- Determines feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Work typically requires a detailed understanding of blueprints, and aircraft drawings.
- This position will require frequent travel (over 50% travel), and in many cases, on short notice as maintenance events occur.
- Must be willing to train and assist in multiple disciplines. Provide Technical guidance and work with customer technicians.
- Must be willing to be deployed to multiple customer sites, both domestic and international.
- Must be available to work flexible schedule to cover nights and weekends as required.
- This position is for a highly motivated person to be responsible for performing aircraft modifications on all Lockheed Martin Platforms.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical data. Must be a US Citizen.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Must have a Final Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years structural experience on C-130 or F-16 military aircraft.

- Applicant must have repair and overhaul experience, preferably at a depot repair facility or on a contract field team.

- Must possess strong leadership/teamwork skills, strong oral written communication skills, strong customer relation skills and the ability to work independently.

- Must have aircraft component troubleshooting and/or repair procedures and replacement of components, and aircraft systems experience.

- Must have Technical Compliance, Time Compliance, or Aircraft Modification experience.

- Willingness to accommodate a heavy travel schedule with short notice (more than 50% travel).

- Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs
Desired Skills:
- An FAA aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic license is desirable.

- 10 years or more of Multiple Platform structural repair experience on military aircraft.

- 10 years of relevant training experience in military systems

- USAF 7-skill level or equivalent Navy CDI, CDQAR

- Be able to apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.

- Experience at a US military customer site

-Ability to perform routine system troubleshooting, installation, and repair
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
