Aircraft Planning Associate Manager

Description:Manages the Make Planning ERP activities associated with Manufacturing and Maintenance Modification Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) including:

- Issuing make planning deck in accordance with program technical requirements including material, maintenance and/or build instructions.

- Creation, disposition and processing of Over & Above Sustainment authorizing work documents.

- Re-issuing planning cards as applicable for subsequent aircraft for a given program, incorporating changes as required.

- Managing Planning Change Requests (PCRs) that result from:
- Engineering Assistance Requests (EARs)
- Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Feedback from Operations, Quality & Mission Success and Integrated Product Team (IPT)

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Must be a United States (US) citizen or authorized to work in the US. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 4 years experience in an aviation production, maintenance, modification, repair and overhaul (MMRO) environment

Experience leading a project or team

Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college

8 years combined experience without a degree

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Ability to read and understand technical documents such as Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Engineering publications, aircraft maintenance manuals, etc

Understanding Bill of Material requirements

Experience with Over & Above documentation process

SAP extensive user experience from a planning perspective

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments

Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues

Ability to understand budget for the department and budget performance

Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics

Experience in Lean Manufacturing
