Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer Staff to perform a variety of assignments that will support program test milestones. The candidate will leverage their technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional team environment.

Tasks may include:

• Analysis of design specifications and development of product specifications to satisfy customer requirements, develop and recommend the system architecture and interfaces of the product, as well as perform trade studies and evaluations of engineering designs and concepts.

• Develop integration and test processes and perform integration of system components.

• Generate and analyze performance reports and process control procedures.

• Determine verification methods, develop test documentation, lead pre-test reviews, and coordinate with Customer program offices and test facilities for test planning and execution.

This I&T engineer will be required to perform initial requirements allocation, develop and/or update interfaces, update system level architecture, conduct risk assessments, work with other engineering disciplines to define/update risk register, update technology maturation plans, update MFC portion of Prescription and Description Documents. In addition to this the Systems Engineer shall support the SEIT lead in updates to Specifications, ICDs, SEMP, PMP, CPD, and/or CDD as they pertain to the Booster IPT and Warhead IPT (MFC). The systems engineer shall also support requirements verification and validation.

The I&T portion of the job consists of development of MFC specific products to include Missile System Integration Plan, Booster Assemblée (inert and live) procedures, glider to booster (inert and live) assembly procedures, AUR to A/C assembly procedures, static test support, inert drop test support, flight test support, and support for laboratory environment for electrical and physical integration of system and subsystem components to support early risk reduction and design validation testing of system requirements. This position also includes development of a T&E program consisting of a logical sequence of component and system level hardware and software tests to identify future design refinements and proposal updates to support an EMD program after PDR.


Basic Qualifications:
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.

Experience with the following:

• Integration and testing hardware and systems (eg. production, ground or flight testing.

• V&V (verification and validation) system and data analysis.

• Customer and supplier interface experience.

• System definition and system integration activities throughout the life cycle of a product.

• Converting customer or product requirements into systems solutions, including requirement and interface definition.

• Cost or Risk assessment and Trade Studies.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics plus 2 years of experience or no experience required with Masters.

• Good communication skills and able to effectively work in a team environment

• Capable of solving complex problems.

• Able to understand the entire system and the full lifecycle of the product.

• Able to oversee and participate in test planning, report preparation, and prepare test reports for customer and regulation submission; participate in oversight of test activities at on-site labs and subcontractor facilities.

• Ability to explain testing strategy, progress, and results to management and the customer is a must.

• The ideal candidate has a high potential for Integration, Test & Verification and aircraft integration activities as well as HWIL experience.
