Job ID: 554444BR Date posted: Apr. 13, 2021 Locations: Grand Prairie, TexasProgram: High Speed Wind Tunnel Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a security/contracts professional for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to work at the Wind Tunnel Laboratories under the direction of the laboratory manager.
Selected candidate will be responsible for three primary duties: visitor control, subcontracts management and onsite security processes and procedures. Secondary duties will include support of budget planning and tracking and program schedule coordination. Position requires a general knowledge of proposal, quotes, purchase orders and invoicing processes as well as familiarity with program operating procedures and data protection for competition sensitive, proprietary, special access and collateral classified .
Primary responsibilities include protecting and assuring the integrity of the facility through visitor controls which entails verifying compliance with company policies for visitor access, maintaining documentation, obtaining approvals, badging and passes for equipment. Candidate will also be responsible for establishing operating procedures for each classified program which includes obtaining DD-254 forms and classification guides, preparing security procedure/guide for operations team, proper handling and storage of classified data and hardware and ensuring proper receipt, return and/or destruction of customer-owned classified material. Candidate will support management of proposals, quotes, purchase orders and invoicing working with Company’s Contracts, Pricing, Legal and Accounting departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of process necessary to capture and execute new business. Candidate will have regular communication, often as the first point of contact, with wind tunnel customers requiring excellent communication skills.
Secondary responsibilities include supporting the wind tunnel manager in creating and tracking budget plans and creating and maintaining the schedule for planned programs throughout the year. Requires familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Project software.
Selected candidate must have active or recent DoD SECRET clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. In times of heavy work surge, candidate may be required to take phone calls to answer questions regarding visitor control or security operations in support night shift or weekend operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with security procedures,
Experience with proposal and contracting processes
Active/Recent SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Prior experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
