Job Responsibilities
Description:This position is for a Staff Systems Architect within the Lockheed Martin MFC Transformation organization, reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Manager. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of systems architecture, business process architecture, and information architecture to ensure the implementation of MFC business transformation strategy aligns to and enables the MFC business strategy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support data architecture decomposition assessments and decisions for the Business Transformation program, focusing on value streams related to Engineering and Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Integration and Test, and Sustainment
• Drive enterprise-level architecture standards to support business process transformations in areas such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Define and develop enterprise-wide domains, enable data domain stewards, and consult across the enterprise on federated enterprise architecture solutions.
• Apply systems engineering and systems architecture disciplines to business transformation strategy implementation and operations
• Support data strategy activities such as data governance, data sharing/rights, data quality, data exchange, etc.
• Support change management activities such as business process reengineering, organizational structure development, and linking processes to roles
• Support business technology configurations and integration activities such as defining work products, processes, and tool integrations across values streams.
• Define integration architecture for MFC business data across existing and future data sources
• Participate in MFC, enterprise data integration initiatives
• Analyze MFC business needs and enterprise data strategies to determine necessary architectural changes ―both near-term and long-term
• Develop and maintain the MFC enterprise architecture model and roadmap (in accordance with the enterprise reference architecture model and roadmap) to guide MFC architecture investments and implementations
• Advise the MFC Enterprise Architecture Manager and MFC Chief Data Architect on architecture goals and strategies, and serve as a senior adviser on architecture standards, technologies, investments, and governance boards
• Work with Chief Data Architect, Business Architects, IT Architects and Developers on the implementation of data strategies and serves an adviser on the execution of data-related projects

Basic Qualifications:
• US Citizenship Required
• Proven system architect experience using UML/SysML within modeling tools such as Cameo and Rhapsody
• Experience developing and utilizing functional ontologies and experience with ontology tools
• Proven experience with systems engineering and systems architecture
• Proven experience with business process architecture and business process transformation
• Proven experience harmonizing systems, processes, and/or data across multiple business areas and functions
• Proven experience building and communicating technical and functional plans using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Model Based Engineering using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and/or Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Experience with System of Systems (SoS) architecture
• Experience with frameworks and standards such as Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), Open Applications Group Integration Specification (OAGIS), and APQC process classification frameworks (PCF)
• Functional knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing data and business processes across Concept to Product, Plan to Stock, Issue to Complete, and Design to Sustain value streams
• Experience with defining and implementing enterprise architectures in an SAP, PLM, and / or MES environment
• Functional knowledge of Business Strategy and Enterprise Performance data and business processes across Goals to Strategy, Plan to Perform, Risks to Mitigate, Record to Report and Relationship To Retention value streams

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $131,000 - $227,125. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
