Description:
You will be the Sr. Labor & Employee Relations Representative / HRBP for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX. Here, you will drive labor & employee relations (L&ER) initiatives and HRBP strategies that are essential to meeting the organization’s operational goals.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sr. Labor & Employee Relations Representative / HRBP you will act as a trusted advisor; proactively engaging with client leadership to influence and positively impact the organization by identifying resources and formulating/presenting actionable recommendations/options for leadership consideration.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performance management, career counseling, and leadership development & coaching.
- Implement workforce strategies and talent assessment & development strategies, as well as drive selection and retention strategies.
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Through the application of systems thinking, identify opportunities to engage with leadership on strategic initiatives, demonstrate Human Resources value, and ensure commitments to corporate initiatives are met.
- Consistently demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to interact with employees and all levels of leadership. Engage with employees to confidentially address concerns and provide support to functional leadership, addressing employee relations and organizational issues.
- Coordinate with resources from HR Centers of Expertise and other organizations to proactively work through complex problems and formulate/propose actionable solutions to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements through advice and counsel to line management.
- Administer employee discipline including perform investigations.
- Consult and partner with multiple levels of leadership to achieve their strategic and tactical plans in a metric-oriented environment.
- Manage represented personnel transactions, grievance administration, investigations, and other daily operations of the Labor Relations function within specified time limits.
- Ensure compliance with policy, State and Federal laws such as NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other workforce management laws and regulations as they pertain to the represented workforce.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters degree.
• Prior experience in one or more HR disciplines, such as HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Labor Relations, or Training and Development.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Contract interpretation and administration.
• Ability to evaluate, maintain, and enhance positive employee relations between union officials, leaders and employees.
• Awareness of legal, state and federal agency requirements to ensure compliance and minimize the potential for litigation and/or agency charges.
Desired Skills:
• Experience providing direction relative to effective labor relations practices, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Ability to work at all levels of HR and Labor Relations – strategic, operational, and tactical.
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with competing priorities with the ability to coach, mentor and support the workforce in such an environment.
• Track record of developing effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with diverse client groups.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence different areas of the organization and drive accountability at all levels.
• Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
