-Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX. is seeking a Sensor Technical Lead Engineer for seeker system evaluation and design.
-This position supports PrSM Increment 2 which adds a dual-mode sensor capability to the base PrSM system to prosecute stationary and moving IAD targets in both land and maritime environments.
-The PrSM Increment 2 Development and Demonstration (D&D) Program is a 42-month technology maturation and risk reduction program in advance of an EMD. During this D&D Program Lockheed Martin is the systems integrator for the GFE sensor technology and the base PrSM weapon system. Mission Success of the D&D program is defined as developmental flight test with successful engagement of a moving maritime target.
-This Sensor Technical Lead position will be responsible for coordinating with the CCDC-AvMC team through all efforts for development of the sensor technology and successful integration into PrSM.
-The Sensor Technical Lead will be the primary interface to CCDC-AvMC ensuring proper flow down of requirements, verification, design and integration, sensor calibration, sensor and system analyses, as well as programmatic duties including schedule assessments and updates as well as preparation and presentation to both USG and LM Leadership.
-The ideal candidiate will possess outstanding leadership skills and excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to work effectively with other Departments (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain Management, Production Operations, Quality, Business Development, etc.) to ensure overall program success. Will interface with established customers and suppliers as well as assess potential new opportunities and technologies for applicability to the Operational/Production System.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and to keep up-to-date on related industry best practices and technological advancements.
-Domestic travel will be required (25% - 50%) to directly interface with CCDC-AvMC onsite at their facility.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Must be familiar with RF circuit design and components
- Experience with RF sensor technology
- Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment
- Clear, confident, concise, coherent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or associated field
Desired Skills:
-IR technology strongly desired.
-Technical skills including knowledge of missile systems, missiles with guidance seekers, integration and testing, and HWIL highly desired.
