We are looking for energetic, skilled engineers, with a clearance, able to work independently, and lead small, empowered teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs trade studies and analysis of a missile system at all levels, including seeker, missile level, and operational level.

• Run analysis tools and utilize results to evaluate trade studies.

• Using the results of this analysis/trades to shape the architecture of an emerging missile system.

• Performs analyses for total systems at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• Performs analysis, detail trade studies, allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into software specifications.

• Tracking product development efforts within their assigned LOB to ensure program needs are incorporated into the Systems Engineering Modernization roadmap.

• Developing reference architectures for our key product lines for use as basis of program architectures.

• Exploring and implementing advanced modeling features to integrate data across functional lines.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must currently posses a Secret security clearance with the last investigation completed within last 6 years.

Experience with the following:

• Requirements definition of achievable design characteristics for an objective system.

• Synthesizing design characteristics into an implementable system architecture.

• Flow system level requirements to testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS.

• Model Based Systems Engineering artifact development using common frameworks like UAF or SysML.

• Defining and tracking Technical Performance Measures (TPM's).

• Performing detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology.

• Conducting a thorough functional configuration audit with verification evidence provided.
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following:

• Development programs, and capturing design decisions into trade studies, architecture documents, and specifications.

• Military systems, including missiles, sensors and their sub-systems, such as solid rocket motors, control actuation systems, navigation systems and similar.

• Knowledge C++.
