Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Performs technical planning, system administration, integration, verification and validation for computer systems and operating systems intended for support of engineering programs. Provide advanced systems administrations techniques for existing/future engineering projects, programs or systems.

Provide advanced computer systems administration and operating system maintenance for Windows and Linux.

Perform guidance and management for hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance on multiple architectures.

Responsible for design and implementation and support of new and existing computer systems.

Perform time saving program and scripting techniques to enhance performance and reliability of (PCs, servers, laptops, storage, and networks, etc.).

Validates system security requirements definition and analysis.

Establishes system security designs.

Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.

Verifies security requirements with auditing agencies and programs.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education.

Ability to get and maintain a security clearance, and customers' acceptance.

Must have had a security clearance review within the past 5 years.

Knowledge and experience with system administration of heterogeneous networks including Windows 7/10, Windows Server12, and Linux.
Desired Skills:

Five (5) or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree OR three (3) or more years with a master's degree.

Prefer Security+, CISSP, or other IAT Level II/III security certification.

Experience with Active Directory domains and/or (Linux) NIS domains.

Scripting ability to support system administration (bash, csh, Perl, Python, WinBatch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.).

Knowledge of RMF/JSIG security controls and environments.

Experience managing McAfee anti-virus updates on Windows and Linux.

Advanced skills developing and maintaining Windows baselines, including security settings and Windows/Linux hardening.

Strong organization and interpersonal skills to provide support to systems administration teams and end-user customers and program management.
