Senior Proposal Analyst - Grand Prairie, TX

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sr. Proposal Analyst located in Grand Prairie, TX or Orlando, FL to be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced organization. The Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Proposal Operations team provides support to strategic proposal efforts from multiple MFC lines of business responsible for designing, developing, producing and supporting precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

The candidate will report directly to the MFC Proposal Operations Manager. The candidate must perform proposal lifecycle activities specializing in proposal writing and coordination tasks to include:

Work with the Proposal Manager and proposal teams to develop and prepare high-quality, compliant proposals. Can serve as deputy proposal manager assisting with proposal management duties.

Support analysis of solicitation / RFI / DRFP / RFQ / RFP and develop templates that adhere to solicitation / RFP requirements

Work with Business Development, Capture and Proposal teams to develop compliant, compelling and accurate proposal sections. Can also serve as volume lead/book boss.

Interview subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop, write and edit materials for proposals, technical documents, white papers and briefings

Assist in maintaining data, tools and systems needed to support proposal library database.

Develop generic proposal materials write-ups. Identify exemplar proposal sections to populate materials for proposal library database.

Conduct quality control checks and review written sections to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements

Participate and occasionally leading pre- and post-RFP release daily coordination calls

Assist in proposal production efforts to include formatting/desktop publishing.

Assist with taskings to ensure the Grand Prairie or Orlando Proposal Center working spaces are well-maintained for capture and proposal teams. Maintenance of the Proposal Center tasks to include, but not limited to:

Serve as a point of contact for Capture and Proposal team needs

Support special projects and completes other responsibilities associated with the position such as event planning, preparation of marketing or business development materials.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a minimum DOD Secret Clearance

Experience in a proposal development environment

Ability to apply research methods to obtain information

Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling and listening skills

Exceptional people skills to work in a dynamic service-driven organization

Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Strong knowledge of Adobe Pro

Ability to work independently and with diverse groups of people

Ability to work overtime often, and on occasion, with minimal advanced notice

Accountable for deadlines

Well-organized with strong attention to details

Able to remain calm under pressure

Demonstrated success at multi-tasking
Desired Skills:
Active Secret clearance

Experience with Adobe InDesign

Five or more years of experience as a proposal writer and / or proposal coordinator

Experience working competitive proposal development for US and foreign government competitive pursuits

Understanding of Missiles and Fire Control products, lines of business, and processes
