You will be the Security Rep Senior Staff for the Security Compliance Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring internal security compliance and education across Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Security Rep Senior Staff you will be responsible for managing and implementing a comprehensive security program that drives compliance, education, and inspection readiness.



Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide guidance and oversight to multiple FSOs to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations.

  • Maintain and execute a formal security self‑inspection program.

  • Develop and sustain internal security policies, procedures, and communication campaigns.

  • Conduct peer reviews and site preparedness assessments for customer inspections.

  • Coordinate with senior security leadership and utilize subject‑matter experts to support self‑inspections.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.


Basic Qualifications:
• Must be willing to work on-site full-time
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education.
• Must possess a secret clearance including an investigation within 5 years, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within a sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.
• Prior demonstrated management/leadership experience.
• Strong, working knowledge of the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117)
• Working knowledge of corporate industrial security protocol.
• Working knowledge of Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special security requirements (e.g., SCI, SAP, Personnel Security, self-inspections and Physical Security)
• Partnering with SAP security leadership, s needed, with internal Site Assistance Visits (SAV) and external government review scheduling and oversight
• Working familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) sufficient to coordinate and support cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Must be FSO certified or the ability to obtain certification upon employment.
• Capable of critical project management, organizational and internal/external customer service and support.
• Must be able to respond to time critical requirements.
Desired Skills:
• Experience and knowledge of OneLM Security Council and Pillars
• Familiarization with Security “Inspection Readiness” Program
• Familiarization with SAP/ SCI policy and and SOPs
• Ability to interact and communicates with key internal and external stakeholders, to include executives on a regular basis; Senior Management Officials, MFC Senior Leadership Team, Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA), Board of Directors etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
