Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Quality Inspection Supervisor for the Quality Assurance Inspection Team. Our team safeguards product integrity by inspecting specifications, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that customers receive flawless results.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Inspection Supervisor you will lead a crew of non‑exempt inspectors, overseeing recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and day‑to‑day task assignment. You’ll keep the schedule tight, the workflow smooth, and the team focused on meeting critical production milestones while collaborating closely with peers and senior leaders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Directly supervising a team of inspectors, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
- Managing the full employee life‑cycle: recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, and conducting performance reviews.
- Maintaining accurate work schedules and ensuring optimal workflow to meet production deadlines.
- Enforcing compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Handling recognition, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Troubleshooting process‑driven issues of limited scope and providing on‑the‑spot guidance.
- Acting as the liaison between your team and senior personnel on significant quality matters.
- Participating in daily operations when needed to keep critical schedules on track.
- Continuously seeking ways to improve inspection procedures and overall team effectiveness.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience working in Production
environment within a Manufacturing/Quality
Assurance department
- Experience working with cross-functional
teams, demonstrating ability to interact with
technical, non-technical and business staff at
all levels
- Experience with/working knowledge of
Manufacturing execution/reporting Systems
including ERP/MRP/Factory management
systems
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with the
ability to learn additional computer systems
-Experience generating and utilizing metrics to
drive data-based decisions
- Ability to obtain a clearance
Desired Skills:
- STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above preferred
- Understanding of Quality Assurance/
Inspection concepts
- ISO/AS9100 knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of company policies
- Experience with Company/Union Agreements
- Customer relationship skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
