Description:
You will be the Program Support & Field Operations Manager for the PAC 3 Sustainment team. Our team safeguards worldwide field service personnel and ensures the technical integrity of launcher, missile and interceptor systems throughout every phase of sustainment, from deployment to training and readiness.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Program Support & Field Operations Manager you will lead a Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) effort, coordinating performance assessments, staffing, schedules, metrics and conflict resolution that directly affect our customers’ mission success. You will serve as the primary liaison between the customer, program office and field personnel, driving technical excellence and seamless sustainment across global operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Directing and supporting field operations staff worldwide, including hiring, training, evaluating and certifying personnel.
• Coordinating expatriation, repatriation and travel logistics for a fast growing organization (domestic and international).
• Managing staffing requirements for deployments, exercises, training events and unit readiness initiatives.
• Setting work priorities, schedules and performance metrics; generating reports for senior leadership.
• Conducting performance assessments, recognition and disciplinary actions in an FSL environment.
• Resolving real time conflicts that could impact mission performance or customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring technical integrity of PAC 3 products and field service skillsets through sustainment activities.
• Participating in requirements development for Logistics & Sustainment Engineering (LSE) and related scope of work reviews.
• Providing expert counsel to programs and management on field operations technical matters.
• Communicating schedule and technical status to functional and program organizations.
• Managing the program budget for your area of responsibility, tracking costs and forecasting needs.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be possess a current Final Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have an active Secret security clearance.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience in appropriate field commensurate with assignment.
- Technically proficient in theory of operation, tactical and technical requirements surrounding Patriot, IBCS, LoE & preferably THAAD.
- Proven leadership skills and decision-making authority of teams of 5 personnel or more through successful execution.
- Strong Operations Management skills focused on technical, tactical, logistics and equipment maintenance in both CONUS and OCONUS environments required to be able to identify and implement new and existing field service support strategies to increase performance to our customers.
- A broad knowledge and solid understanding of the principles and analysis of all DoD Logistics and Sustainment Engineering disciplines including Logistics, Field Services, Technical Publications and Training.
- Knowledge of Specialty Engineering (Reliability, Maintainability, Human Factors and System Safety) and Configuration/Data Management and how they interact with the other Engineering and Technology disciplines is a plus.
- Proven ability to work successfully across functional groups and with internal customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups and senior leadership.
- Candidate must be willing to work overtime, and travel as needed to support program requirements.
The ability to interface with Engineering teams to jointly solve difficult field operations technical issues.
- The ability to interface with multi–disciplined Program / Customer teams to achieve Program Mission Success at the direction of the Program and Field Operations Manager.
- Ability to place the appropriate focus on mission success and the Full Spectrum Leadership imperative – Deliver Results.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a military maintenance / field / deployment environment, preferably in MOS fields of 14T, 140K, 140L or 140E.
- Graduate degree commensurate to assignment.
- Control Account Management (CAM) certified, with completed training and demonstrated understanding of earned value management system processes and procedures.
- Program Management experience.
- Depot Operations experience.
- Microsoft Project and Scheduling experience.
- Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) development.
- Engineering team lead experience in working with Logistics and Sustainment Engineering disciplines. - - Product Support / LSE Program experience in all phases of a program.
- Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) integration and field operations experience.
- Risk identification and management experience.
- Experience conducting performance reviews, hiring, disciplinary actions, and other personnel related activities.
- Experience processing Military Common Access Cards IAW LM and Government requirements.
Working knowledge of the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) government system to execute Letter of Authorization (LOA) deployment orders.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
