Description:About the Role:
This position is for a Chief Engineering Manager for the for the Chief Engineer Development
section, supporting the Lower Tier IAMD (LTIAMD) PAC-3 Command Launch System (CLS) production. Our team is responsible for providing technical leadership and support to missile production programs.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Engineering & Technology Chief Engineer, you will lead technical efforts and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. You will work closely with the PAC-3 Production Chief Engineer and other members of the LTIAMD Chief Engineer staff to drive synergy across tasks and communicate lessons learned.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical efforts and provide technical support to missile production programs
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and exercise the right processes
• Lead Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards
• Communicate technical status and issues internally and externally to program leadership, technical leadership, and functional leadership
• Serve as the Engineering & Technology representative to the CLS Production Corrective Action Board (CAB)
• Collaborate with subcontractors and manage subcontract technical activities
• Work closely with the Army customer and ensure familiarity with PAC-3 CLS Segment and its requirements
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must:
• Have demonstrated experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development including SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA and transition to production
• Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to lead technical efforts with cross-functional teams
• Possess experience and initiative to ensure technical leadership and support for the development process
• Show a strong understanding of Full Spectrum Leadership principles (technical, people, business, strategic).

Location:
This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX and will require occasional domestic travel. The position will require on-site work with the ability to flex working hours.
Basic Qualifications:
• Engineering degree with demonstrated record of increasing leadership responsibility.
• Secret clearance with an investigation in the past five years.
• Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of
development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA and transition to production.
• Candidate should have wide experience /familiarity in working with Engineering Excellence functional organization.
• Experience in leading Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards.
• Knowledge of Air & Missile Defense systems.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to mentor members of engineering team.
• Knowledge of Test Engineering processes in development and production support.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with the Lower Tier IAMD Missile Segment and its requirements combined with a working knowledge of the Army customer is strongly desired.
• Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is strongly preferred.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
