Multi Functional Financial Analyst Associate - Grand Prairie, Texas

Description:Manages financial performance of assigned contracts from proposal through contract execution and closeout.

Forecasts program financials including orders, sales, profit, and cash. Creates Long Range Plan for Program.

Prepares quarterly CSR analysis and briefs management on program performance.

Leads preparation of budgets for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

Incorporates contractual changes into financial control systems.

Maintains awareness of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
Desired Skills:
Program finance experience to include quarterly financial program status preparation and analysis and Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash forecasting

Ability to multi-task and take on challenging assignments

Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process oriented, structured problem solver

Ability to work independently and work collaboratively with teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Excellent organization skills

Working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard ANSI / EIA 748-A

Experience and ability to interface with senior management
