Missile Modeling and Simulation Staff Engineer

Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a modeling and simulation architect for simulation efforts for a fast-paced new missile program. This program is part of our Tactical Missiles Advanced Programs portfolio at our Missiles and Fire Control location in Grand Prairie, TX.

This individual is responsible for development, integration, and use of an air and missile defense system simulation, including relevant system engineering, verification, validation, and performance analysis tasks.

This position requires relocating TDY to the Schrobenhausen, Germany area.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must posses an Active Secret clearance or higher.

• Willing to be located in Germany.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.

Experience with the following:

• Sensor, missile, launcher, and/or air defense systems.

• Real-time and C++ software development, Linux, and MATLAB.

• Configuration management of software or simulation development efforts.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop simulation testing.
