Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Items Analyst for its Inventory Operations in Grand Prairie, TX responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. This position will provide the PAC-3 program with Logistics Support for Sustainment efforts.

Duties include:

Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, planned production and sustainment processing forecasts.

Develop and maintain inputs to inventory system and maintain data integrity checks.

Prepare inventory records and reports and investigate discrepancies in stock counts.

Perform stock level usage analyses and initiate immediate actions in out-of-stock situations.

Coordinate with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, storing and issue of goods across multiple geographic Depot locations.

Candidate will spend majority of time working in a team environment.

Individual will interface with contract administrators, production control and material management to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and that promised delivery dates meet customer commitments.

Identify/inventory and keep records of all Government Furnished Equipment

Coordinate shipments to and from the PAC 3 field office

Coordination of material needs for repairs, Depot processing and activity management

Work instruction management, modification and development as needed

There may be some travel.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Problem solving skills

Ability to work within SAP environments: Maintenance Program Definition (MPD) Production Environment (PRX)

Ability to create and work with an Integrated Master Schedule

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must

Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and an ability to perform oral presentations.

Must be able to work well with other team members, handle multiple tasks and provide logistical support for a multitude of different contracts.
Desired Skills:
Active Secret Clearance

Technical degree

Familiarity with the Material Movement System (MMS)

Familiarity with the Government Property System

Supply support / stock control background

Asset Management System / Supply Chain Management knowledge

Familiarity with DoD regulations and DoD Supply

Military experience

Prior experience with DoD Contractor or Government agency

Awareness and/or experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
