Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be the Project Engineer for the Precision Fires Launcher LSE team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the technical excellence of products and services, achieving program milestones on time and within budget, and providing project engineering support to the LSE Leads.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring metrics and measurements, managing control accounts, and evaluating manpower requirements to ensure the LSE team's success. You will work closely with LSE Leads, Work Package Managers, and Finance to achieve program goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing Control Account Technical, Cost, and Schedule Performance for assigned program control accounts
• Coordinating proposal activities, estimates, and development
• Monitoring and tracking functional processes, methods, and practices for assigned LSE elements
• Updating, forecasting, and evaluating LSE manpower requirements
• Supporting internal audits, Initial Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and variance analysis reports
• Participating in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Control Account Management training and understanding of earned value management system processes and procedures
• Must be Control Account Manager (CAM) certified or be able to pass certification test within 90 days
• Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task high priorities
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment under general guidance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups
• Ability to work successfully across functional groups and with customers (internal and external)
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools
• Candidate must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed to support program
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience applying Control Account Management (CAM) / Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodologies and analysis
• Project management skillsets, including but not limited to: leadership, effective communication, planning/organization, risk management, and financial acumen
• Experience forecasting and evaluating manpower requirements
• Experience tracking and monitoring proposals to meet proposal schedules
• Proven resource management – people, material, and time
• Familiarity with Tableau
• Precision Fires program knowledge and experience
• Solid understanding of the finance principles and analysis of the LSE disciplines
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
