Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer to develop the autopilot and flight control algorithms for a premier hypersonics program. You will incorporate disparate data sets and algorithms into a high fidelity 6DOF missile models working with M&S entities within the project to ensure compatibility and integrity of the solution.

You will be a part of a small, fast-paced advanced programs team working in the high-profile development of a new hypersonic weapon system that will play a critical role in the future defense of our nation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must have a secret clearance with the last investigation less than 5 years ago.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Experience with the following:

• C++, MATLAB or Simulink.

• Missile seeker design, GNC algorithms, and/or 6DOF simulation development.

• Line of sight modeling and algorithm development.
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following:

• Hardware in the loop testing and missile flight tests.

• Missile flight test.
