Financial Analyst Senior Staff/ EVMS /Grand Prairie, TX

This is a Central Finance position supporting multiple contracts with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) DFARS. The successful candidate will have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge of EVM requirements to ensure continued compliance of LM MFC’s EVMS. Candidate will lead all EVM activities for the Grand Prairie site. Maintain oversight and responsibility for all Grand Prairie Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Surveillance Reviews, Program Internal Surveillance Reviews, and Program Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). This person will work closely with the Orlando site lead to ensure MFC maintains a compliant EVMS.

Candidate must demonstrate the ability to successfully analyze and interpret their assigned program’s cost and schedule metrics and provide recommendations to the program as needed to address areas of concerns. Tasks include but are not limited to, initiating / supporting the program initial baseline activity, facilitate EVM process and ensuring timely completion of activities within the organization (performance measurement baseline, baseline change control, variance analysis), review program Data Driven Metrics (DDMs) and provide analysis and recommendations, ensure adherence to corporate and business area processes, and review / recommend approval of program documents (PPMDs). Act as a lead / mentor to junior team members and others within the wider organization.

The candidate will require strong communication skills as this role requires interfacing with Senior Management, Program Managers, Finance Managers, and Program Planning Managers.

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt to a changing environment and accomplish a variety of special tasks with minimal guidance. EVM experience within the Aerospace or Defense industry is required. Industry recognition as a SME within EVM Industry Standard, EIA 748-C is desired. Prior experience implementing EVM systems including system description, implementation procedures, IBRs, system validation, Data Analytics, and training desired. In addition to ensuring compliant EVMS implementation this position will manage a core team of EVMS practitioners and tool experts. This position may require travel, predominantly between Grand Prairie and Orlando.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active DOD Security Clearance
• Earned Value Management (EVM) Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Experience working on DFARS programs
• Experience with working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
• EVM process and tool experience
• Experience with Data Driven Metrics (DDM)
• Proven successful team management experience illustrated through related work experience
• Working knowledge Cost Principles and Government Compliance
• Demonstrated financial/analytical experience
• Experience demonstrating senior level ability to research and successfully resolve complex and business critical issues
• Ability to travel as required (predominantly between Orlando and Grand Prairie)
Desired Skills:

• Fifteen (15 ) or more years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR thirteen or more years with a Master's degree
• Understanding of Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Electronic Financial System (EFS) and its various workflows
• Program Performance Management (PPM) 101 or equivalent training
• Ability to work with people at all levels within Lockheed Martin, Program Management, teammates, and Government stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Executive level presentation skills
• Strong Customer Service orientation with proven experience in building customer relationships and trust
