Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Database Administrator for a position in Grand Prairie, TX.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) is seeking a Database Administrator to identify requirements, drive change, implement and maintain smooth operations and physical/functional design of a sustainment system. Reviews, coordinates, plans and drives meaningful change to sustainment database and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and coordinates recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Ensures program security and integrity controls are maintained. Formulates policies, standard operating procedures, and standards relating to sustainment database management, and ensures sustainment system training needs are identified for all users.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: database integrity; development and management of operational procedures; system requirements management; ensure database health; resource planning; sustainment database improvement identification and planning; manage/implement backup and recovery strategy planning and implementation; environment transition
planning (development, test, stage, production).

As a Database Coordinator, candidate will perform
administrative functions, as well as lead and manage a team in support of program operations with
specific focus on long-term sustainment support to address extreme growth areas. Areas of interest are integrated logistics, configuration control, inventory control and supply chain management.
Candidate will lead, coordinate and manage the design, development and enhancement of the sustainment
Basic Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Excel)

Solid technical background in Reliability Engineering and Quality Engineering

Knowledge of Tool for Oracle Application Developers Program (TOAD)

Proficient with PL/SQL language programming

Strong knowledge of SAP and MRO

Determines, coordinates, generates, maintains and executes data transfer scripts

Ability to implement and execute automated data validation routines to assure accuracy and health of database.

Design, develop and perform ad hoc database queries

Extensive knowledge of Oracle Database

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to build effective working relationships

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Prior experience with database administration

Prior experience integrating multiple database systems into a single operating entity

Prior Logistics experience

Prior Configuration Management experience

Prior experience working government contracts

Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.

Experience with Sustainment Operations

Knowledge of the THAAD program

Familiar with SAP to OASAS (Depot Repair Process Tool) data transfer processes

Experience in preparing Basis of Estimates

Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM)

CAM certified
