You will be the Business Development Analyst Principle for the Close Combat Systems team. Our team is responsible for driving growth and strategic partnerships within the Close Combat Systems line of business.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Business Development Analyst Principle you will be responsible for shaping strategy and expanding our market presence.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) to keep sold and grow the Close Combat Systems Line of Business
- Assess and build effective customer and industry partner relationships
- Develop growth strategies within existing and new customer organizations
- Manage New Business Funds to invest in technology and produce winning proposals
- Facilitate strategic thinking throughout the business to react quickly to changing market environments

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Strong relationships within the Department of Army, industry partners and competitors
• Track record of successful shaping and winning new business
• Business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment, strong strategic thinking and planning skills
• Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external senior executives
• Demonstrate personal accountability, achievement, learning and continual improvement
• Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations
Desired Skills:
• Track record of successful shaping and winning new business in the defense sector
• Experience in business planning with strategic goals and identifying opportunities as part of the business development planning process to achieve established business area growth goals
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
