- Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Specialist to join its Facilities Strategic Planning Team dedicated to Development and Maintenance of the Business Continuity program, To be an active member of the Business Resiliency Team, and provide a supporting role for Facilities Planning and Documentation for all offsite locations across the Enterprise. The Business Continuity Specialist is responsible for managing the integrity of our Business Continuity (BC) Plans and BC portfolio data across the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Business Area; Prepare and maintain the accuracy and integrity of all BC Plans, by performing deep quantitative and qualitative analyses; Monitor changes in business rhythms, changes in responsible individuals, support corporate BC initiatives; Support the entire Business Resiliency Team, Provide Reporting, Develop and execute annual BC exercises, and participate in all BR exercises across the enterprise. In addition, this individual may provide support to the Facilities Strategic Planning Team, assisting with Layout documentation (CAD), Report preparation, and Analysis of Data.
- Working with the MFC Business Resiliency Team and the Corporate BC organization to promote and enhance the overall BC Program/Documentation.
- Take a lead role in the overall BC Program in development, maintenance, and maturity of the BC Plans and Program.
- Conduct annual reviews of the Business Continuity Plans and develop a relevant Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and produce relevant documentation.
- Perform Business Impact Analysis to identify and document risks for business disruption.
- Ensure that requirements identified in the BIA align with current strategies and capabilities and re-mediate gaps as required.
- Develop and lead business continuity plan exercises (business interruption and recovery exercises), documenting lessons learned. Review plan gaps discovered and follow up until resolved.
- Provide support in the event of a business disruption to manage the response coordination, communications, and recovery.
- Monitor and assist with response to all incidents that affect our staff and company assets.
- Lead with the configuring and maintaining business continuity and crisis management tools. Support team members with their work as needed.
- Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions. Effective Decision Making and Judgement.

- Effective organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Must be resourceful, flexible, and maintain composure when reacting and responding rapidly to critical situations that require a high level of accuracy.

- Highly attentive to detail and accuracy, with problem solving skills necessary to take on program challenges and new initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on multiple deliverables
- Develop and track metrics (as developed) to show activities and progress.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in development and maintenance of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, or related experience.
- Experience with national and international business continuity standards and assessment.
- Experience in managing a complex business continuity program involving multiple sites.
- Experience supporting Crisis Management Teams and/or Emergency Management Teams during real-world incidents or business disruption events (i.e. Hurricanes, snowstorms, flood, fires, power outages, and related hazards).
- Experience with conducting or coordinating risk assessments on critical business processes or operating locations.
- Working knowledge of Autocad preferred. Must be willing and able to learn Autocad for providing support for documentation of building layouts.
- Ability to Travel
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, General Sciences, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Sharepoint and an understanding of computer technology to include data visualization tools; database management tools; mass communications tools; incident management systems.
- Working knowledge of Autocad preferred
