You will be the Flight Hardware Management & Task Coordinator for the Modernized Target Designation Sight/Pilotage Night Vision System (M TADS/M PNVS) Repair Team. Our team is responsible for the end to end depot level production control, modification, refurbishment, and certification of flight critical hardware—mechanical, structural, optical, avionic, and complete system assemblies—ensuring every part meets exact customer and regulatory specifications.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Flight Hardware Management & Task Coordinator you will be responsible for driving the flow of hardware through the repair floor, aligning priorities across multiple subsystems, and acting as the primary on site liaison between our Orlando engineering hub, United States Government (USG) repair operations, and internal production teams. You’ll translate engineering drawings, schematics, Repair Center Procedures (RCPs), Field Advisory Bulletins (FABs) and Contractor Installation Procedures (CIPs) into actionable work plans while keeping stakeholders informed of status, constraints, and solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating depot level production control for M TADS/M PNVS hardware modifications and refurbishments.
• Prioritizing work on mechanical, structural, optical, avionic, and complete system subsystems to meet contractual deadlines.
• Monitoring and reporting hardware status throughout the work cycle; flagging constraints and proposing mitigations.
• Collaborating with field engineers of diverse disciplines to maintain an integrated internal schedule.
• Conducting technical problem analysis, generating solution options, and recommending corrective actions to customers or internal leads.
• Delivering technical training, product briefings, and hands on support to customers, vendors, and internal representatives.
• Serving as the on site customer representative, ensuring clear communication and alignment with customer requirements.
• Acting as the Task Coordinator liaison with Orlando USG repair, FMS repair, and Production Operations—organizing daily workflow, providing status updates, and driving cross site task alignment.
• Maintaining compliance with all engineering documentation, RCPs, FABs, and CIPs throughout the repair process.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in related discipline, or Equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in repairs of electro-mechanical, avionics, electro-optical assemblies
- Knowledge of basic avionics and electronics principles
- Experience with CCA component rework and repair processes
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and fault isolation of components
- Knowledge of the operation of general purpose and/or automated test equipment
- Knowledge of the interpretation of engineering drawings, schematics, and test and repair procedures
- Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications and industry processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements
- Ability to understand policies and procedures for the use and control of Government property
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to mix and weigh chemicals
- Ability to properly, safety wire assemblies and connectors
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of flight hardware workflows
- Knowledge of fault isolation for electro-mechanical and electro-optical components
- Knowledge of concepts for hardware repair
- Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards
- Military flight-line maintenance experience
- Experience with professionally interacting with customers and personnel

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
