Project Management & Planning Operations Associate Manager

Description:Provides Leadership to the Production Planning and Documentation Control group by ensuring that high quality products are delivered in a timely manner. Planning support includes, providing production planning products required to meet all SWFLANT pre-DD250 manufacturing and production processing quality, design, schedule and contract requirements. Areas supported include SWFLANT Missile Body Operations and Factory Management Teams (FMT's). Provide cross organizational support, coordination and interpretation of technical requirements as established by engineering drawings, specifications and command media requirements. Support Demand Management programming requirements, data systems requirements development and implementation, problem resolution and processing improvements. Serves as the SWFLANT Stock Sweep and Task Memo Coordinator.

Documentation support includes, but is not limited to, providing documentation control of deliverables and services associated with the update, issuance and control of Facility and Fleet D5/LE missile and associated support equipment (SE) documentation. Responsible for the oversight of the Documentation Control Board (DCB) and the controlled document change process. Ensure product data and product operations data documents are delivered and maintained in accordance with requirements documents and command media. Provide oversight and guidance for the operation of the Technical Data Center
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related field from an accredited college and 5 years professional experience, or
Master's degree and 3 years of professional experience
Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation and written).
Demonstrated successful role leading/overseeing the efforts of personnel.
Leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) imperatives
Desired Skills:
Experience working in missile production, production/program planning and/or documentation control.
Knowledge of SWFLANT processing operations.
Proven ability to interface and communicate with customers, peers and leadership.
Excellent presentation skills.
Knowledge of FBM production and manufacturing operations.
Green Belt certified.
