The selected candidate will be an integral part of the F-35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Hardware and Software Integration and Test Team (HSI&T) in Fort Worth, Texas which is responsible for integration and testing of the MPE environment. The MPE team provides F-35 ground mission planning, mission debrief, security and sensor reprogramming capabilities. The HSI team is a team of engineers responsible for providing MPE hardware and software integration support, familiarization training, user documentation creation and maintenance, troubleshooting, and field support to US and international locations. The MPE Agile teams design, develop and integrate F-35 MPE software and hardware, in a customized Agile framework to allow for quick development and inclusion of anomaly corrections, capability enhancements, and product improvements.

Specific job responsibilities include:
• Support development of ground-based software and implementation of security protocols
• Development and maintenance of training material for the setup and operations of the MPE
• Development and maintenance of MPE system user documentation
• Identify/resolve MPE system anomalies and shortfalls
• Interact with users and act as a Subject Matter Expert for MPE
• Interface with multiple internal and external customers in support of product improvements
• Responsible for Lab configuration consisting of installation of Linux and Windows operating systems in a variety of hardware to include servers, desktops and laptops.
• Perform detailed problem analysis of anomalies discovered during installations and test execution, document anomalies, and verify corrections when implemented
• Participate in technical reviews and audits of systems hardware and software products
• Interact, plan and coordinate with multiple software development, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams.
• Providing customer service and technical assistance to the end users on operation, use, and maintenance of mission essential network equipment and environment hardware
• Providing tiered troubleshooting of IT systems and network equipment using network schematics, diagrams, and other documentation
• Planning and executing day to day lab operations
• Maintaining lab infrastructure and material condition of program hardware
• Maintaining / documenting proper inventories of operational MPE boundaries and out of band equipment
• Supporting network maintenance and related IT projects
• Coordinating and executing the maintenance of keyed crypto devices
• Coordinating equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilities
• Providing technical and administrative training to teammates and/or clients
• Troubleshooting using system logs to diagnose communication issues
• Performing all required operations in a secured facility

This candidate may provide subject matter expertise to support software testing, software and tool development and training curriculum development efforts to further enhance/improve the products provided to the field.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

• Experience with IT System/Software Troubleshooting

• Experience with test lab environment Hardware configuration and maintenance

• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Proficient with windows and Linux/Unix operating systems configuration and troubleshooting.

• Have, or be able to obtain, and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, etc.)

• Experience implementing and maintaining compliance to IA policy and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements

• Experience maintaining configuration control for an IT system

Desired Skills:
• Must have excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and written/verbal communication skills.

• F-35 ALIS, Mission Planning and/or Mission Systems experience

• Holds DoD IAT Level II certification

• Holds Certifications in the following Environments: MS-, X-Windows, Linux, CCNA

• Demonstrated Network / System Administration experience

• Network administrator experience with experience in Layer 2 and 3 Networking

• Experience in development of Standard Operating Procedures and training material

• Spanning technology in switches

• Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers (Win2012) and virtual machines (VMWare and/or Hyper-V)

• Data center maintenance and infrastructure management

• Systems administration experience with servers and network installations/integrations

• Operational and troubleshooting experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and network hardware (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, storage, network encryptors, etc.)

• Demonstrated ability to analyze intrusion detection system networks

• Hardware/system monitoring of physical and virtual servers

• Upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components

• Applying operating system updates, antivirus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates to appliances

• Flexibility and willingness to support dynamic mission requirements

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS network hardware and software
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
